Q: Why doesn't the uses work how it should work.
A: You can't (yet) use files because IfScript is independed of files,
  it is still a script engine, not a pascal compiler. The uses
  statement calls the OnUses call and in this call you can add procs/vars to the engine.

Q: How can I add a variable to the variable list:
A: The prefered way to do it is in the OnUses function:
  Function MyOnUses(
                      Id : Pointer;
                      Sender : TIfPasScript;
                      Name : String
                     ) : TIfError;
  begin
    if Name='SYSTEM' then begin
      VM_Add(Sender. variables, CreateString(edit1.text), 'EDIT1TEXT');
      // the line above adds the variable to the list, the name must
      // be in uppercase!

      RegisterStdLib(Sender);
      // This function adds the standard libraries.
      MyOnUses := ENoError;
    end else
      MyOnUses := EUnknownIdentifier;
  end;
  After the TCs2PascalScript.Create, you do: script.OnUses := MyOnUses;

Q: How can I read the value of a variable:
A: First call VM_Find(script.Variables, 'EDIT1TEXT'), if the result of
  that function is -1, the variable does not exist. Else if it does
  exist, call YourVarName:=VM_Get(Script.Variables, ResultOfVM_Find);
  YourVarName is a PCajVariant, from there you can read the contents.
  For example: YourvarName^.CV_Str gives the result as a string.

Q: Can you help me with ....? Are you going to add .....?
A: I prefer you place this question in our newsgroup:
