Delphi 4.0 component with full source code

INTRODUCTION ==================================================

TPakExplr is a component that will list the resources found in
a Quake2 PAK file. You can choose to list only a specific
resource type (eg. maps) or list all resources.

INSTALLATION ==================================================

1. Copy the PakExplr.dcu and PakExplr.dcr to a new directory
   (eg. \borland\packages\PakExplr)

2. From the "Component" menu in Delphi, select "Install
   Component".

3. Click the "Into new package" tab. Browse to wherever you
   copied the files and select "PakExplr.dcu". Enter any name
   for the "package file name" (eg. PakExplrPack).

4. Click "OK". Component should show up under the "Angstrom"
   tab.

USAGE =========================================================

Check the included demo file for an example.

PROPERTIES ====================================================

  Name: Component name, set to whatever you want

  PakFile: Full path and filename to PAK file.

  ResourceList: This will contain the list of resources found,
                after "execute"

  ResourceType: Select "ptAll" to list all resources, or select
                the specific resource type you want

METHODS =======================================================

  Execute: This will return "true" or "false" based on whether
            it could find the PAK file, etc. If "true" then
            "MapList" will contain a list of all resources of
            type "FileType". If no resources of that type were
            found in the PAK file, Execute returns "true" but
            MapList will be blank.

  To update "maplist", simply run "PakExplr1.execute"

SUPPORT =======================================================

This component is freeware. Therefore no support or warranty
is offered. However, if you have questions or comments, you can
reach me at "angstrom@iname.com".
