Some dark thoughs
-----------------
there is one thing that can drive me mad ! i'll show, try this
take a new form, put a panal in it, drop some edit boxes and some buttons in it
and put a button out side of it.
now the code for the button is:

  with Panel1 do Enabled:=not Enabled;

great, now run it please...
when ever you press on that button the panel is disabled or enabled, right ?
yes it is but how the hell are you supposed to know it, the controls in the
panel are not 'Grayed' when they are disabled like they normaly would be if
they are outside the panel, would they ?
so here i come to the rescue...

the Tools.pas file has two procedures that will make your life easier and your
code much smaller.
didn't you used to look at your code a see some thing like this:

procedure TForm1.Button1Click(Sender : TObject);
begin
  Edit1.Enabled:=true;
  Edit2.Enabled:=true;
  Button2.Enabled:=true;
  ...
end;

well these days are OVER !!! your code should be just 'one liner' like this:

procedure TForm1.Butto1Click(Sender : TObject);
begin
  { nice ha ? }
  EnableControls([Edit1,Edit2,Button2],true);

  { or mabye like this ? }
  EnableControls([EditButton,DeleteButton,TableNavigator],not Table1.IsEmpty);
end;

shortly i realy hope some of you put it into a good and every day use,i you
use it please let me know by e-mal.
