Hi all,
I just wanted to add to the ever increasing list of network chat programs out there. I've added a few items that i think are nice features.

First off this app needs msxml.dll to be registered on the PC, but it can be either version 2.0 or 3.0 sp1. It also uses the winsock control to handle the data transfer between computers on the network.

Adding and Deleting computer names from the combobox:
To add a new computer, type a computer name into the combobox. when you click out of the combobox, that computer name is added to the combobox list. Every time you pick a computer from the combobox, that computer will become the new remote host (who you are sending the message to). to remove a computer from the combobox, double click the word "Pick" just above the combobox.

When the app is shut down, it will go through the list of computers in the combobox and persist them off into a xml file. when the app starts up, it tries to read the xml file and populate the computers into the combobox. this way you dont have to re-enter the computers into the list each time you start the app.

Sending and Receiving messages:
To send a message to someone, pick the computer you want to send the message to from the combobox. type the message into the bottom text box and hit enter. every time the user hits enter, the app tries to send the message. when a user receives a message it will show up in the upper text box. the label above the upper text box will show who sent the message.

System Tray Operations:
when the app is minimized it will minimize, hide, then an icon (lips) will show up in the system tray. to bring the app back up the screen you can double click on the system tray icon, or right click on it and hit the "Show" menu option.

there is also a menu option called "Popup when minimized". this is a menu option can be checked or unchecked. when checked and the app is in the system tray and the user receives a new message the app will return back to the screen. if the menu item is unchecked and the app is in the system tray and the user receives a new message the app icon will flash, notifying the user that they have a new message. when the user returns the app to the screen the icon in the system tray will be removed.
