FreeTrade Test Specification

Test Script

This script attempts to test all parts of the FreeTrade system. Follow it and change details you see fit. After all, real customers won’t be following any script. After following the script, answer the list of questions about specific functionality.

The steps listed below do not tell you exactly what to click. Please comment on any difficulty you have with understanding the user interface.

  1. Go to the home page.
  2. Click to the store page.
  3. Click into a department and find an item to purchase.
  4. Add the item to your basket.
  5. Add nother item from a different department.
  6. Checkout
  7. Delete one of the items in your basket
  8. Go back add add it again.
  9. Check out again.
  10. Update the quantity of one of the items.
  11. Without filling out any of the fields, submit the shipping form.
  12. Fill in a few fields and try submitting the form.
  13. Fill out the rest of the required fields and submit.
  14. Repeat this procedure of testing fields with the billing info.
  15. Confirm the order.
  16. Register as a new user.
  17. Add items to your basket.
  18. Try the express checkout.
