Installing the Generic PHP Framework
------------------------------------

To install the GPFR, simply untar the framework into the directory of your
choice, e.g.

	bash$ cd /home/php-scripts
	bash$ tar -zxvf <where-you-put-it>/gpfr.tar.gz

and then edit your php.ini file to point to the directory you installed
the GPFR into:

	bash$ vi /usr/local/lib/php.ini
	include_path = /home/php-scripts:<whatever>
	ZZ

Checking Your Installation
--------------------------

	To check your installation, create the file 'test.php':

		<?php
		require ("gpfr/tests/test.php");
		?>

	Make sure you create the file in a directory that you can get at
	from your web server.

	Then, just load up the page in your favourite web browser (or
	Netscape if you're desperate ;-)

		http://<your-web-server>/<path-to>/test.php

	If it works, you'll see the message:

		Generic PHP Framework is installed

	plus some debugging information.
