// What this Is
//

I run a little site called Punknews.org. For a promotional thing I was doing with Vagrant Records, I was
supposed to offer some free unreleased tracks. The problem was, that (a) I needed to capture e-mail
addresses, and (b) that I didn't want people linking to the files directly. So I put together this little
set of scripts. It's not going to work unmodified, and there is some hardcoded HTML (sorry)
But compared to the other antileech scripts, I think it's more robust. It does REFERER checking, and
the files are not necessarily stored in publically accessible locations, one of the (major) shortcomings
of the other script.

It should be fairly easy to setup, as there isn't a lot of files, and it works fairly well as a registered MP3
downloading script. I am releasing it for free because I think a lot of people could probably use it to
keep track of downloads etc.

My Quick Instructions(tm)

1. Get a Webserver with PHP3.
2. Modify the register.php3 to look the way you want. It's mostly seperate chunks of code and HTML so
it shouldn't be too hard. I've included the mp3 icons from Gnome, as they are GPL'ed and pretty.
Don't forget to name the cookie something, and set the expiry for the cookie. Right now, it's set
for July 5th.
3. Add the promos.sql to your MySQL database.
4. Modify noleech.php3 and add an array of your files, set the referring URL and the redirect URL
5. Go live.

My TODO List

1. Add far more extensive logging. My current logging only keeps track of e-mails
2. Based on (any) feedback, tighten the security
3. Easier install
