	Version 3.01 (chT)
	--------------------------------------

Document restructured a bit to improove readability. Especially
regarding upgrading and converting the old upd hiscores.
The code of upd itself has not been modified.

	Version 3.0 (chT)
	--------------------------------------

I experinced problem with the old upd when uptimes began
to exceed 100 days (probably before).
The hiscore list had to be restructured, and therefore the
hiscore list you have now, will not work with upd 3.0 and future
	version.
I have written a simple convertion utility that reads the old
database and write a new one.

Type: make updconvert to build the utility and read the
	instructions.

You MUST convert your (old) hiscore list before upd 3.0
is able to continue using it.
You can of course just delete it, if you don't care:

		rm -fr /usr/local/lib/upd/*
		touch /usr/local/lib/upd/upd.hiscores

Otherwise a back-up is prefered before upgrading:

		cp /usr/local/lib/upd/upd.hiscires /tmp/upd.hiscores.OLD

For those interested, uptime accuracy was lost because I read
the uptime (in seconds) into af float, which aparrently cannot
hold large enough numbers. So now I use a double instead.
If anyone experinces similar problems now .. nice uptime =).

	Version 2.0 (super 200 pro)
	--------------------------------------

Hostname is now read with (3)hostname(),
this discards the use of stupid HOSTNAMEVARs from config.h.

	Renamed option ``system'' to ``start''
and removed ``restart'' since I don't know how to
	make it work properly anyway.

Created a upd.init script that should fit into
/etc/rc.d/init.d/. Therefore, if you have upd started from
/etc/rc.d/rc.local, you should remove this, so upd is not
	started twice.

Maked a new option: ``php''. It basically does the same
as ``html'' except it doesn't show a HTML header and footer,
so it fits nicely into a php script.

	Added ``version'' option.

	Version 1.8
	--------------------------------------

A typo in Makefile/README has been corrected.

The kernel version of the system, where upd is running,
is included in both the HTML and console hiscore list.

Default HTML dir changed to from:
	    /home/httpd/htdocs
	to:
	    /usr/local/apache/htdocs

	Version 1.7 (strawberry flavoured pro)
	--------------------------------------

"And counting" is only displayed when upd is runing (TMP_FILE
	is present, that is).
Colour of the top hiscore entry in the HTML file has been changed
	by request =).

	Version 1.6 (strawberry flavoured)
	----------------------------------

Various bugfixes regarding the updating of the hiscore list; it
had the ability to get the same entry rewritten upon restart.

Also one of two different date formats can be chosen. However,
I haven't been able to test this yet, since it was implemented on
	the 9th of September (09-09).. ;)

	Now strawberry flavoured!

	Version 1.5
	-----------

Allot of chanes have been made in the Makefile regarding installation
procedures. Please see the README. But in short:
First installations should be done by: make install install_data
and perhaps: make install_script to modify startup scripts.
Future upgrades are done by: make upgrade.

The directories /usr/bin and /usr/lib/upd have been changed to
/usr/local/bin and /usr/local/lib/upd. The format of the hiscore
file has not changed, so you can move everything safely (as root):

	   #mv /usr/bin/upd /usr/local/bin

Remember to delete the old upd; it not pointing to the correct dir
	any longer:

	   #rm /usr/bin/upd

The -mpentium flag has been removed so compilations should run
smoothly on other architechtures as well.

The HTML output lists hiscores from 1-5 instead of 0-4; Most humans
prefer to count that way =).

	Version 1.4
	-----------

The HTML output now also display "Currently active!" if a
hiscore entry matches the current uptime.
